Winter Flying Special
Take advantage of the cooler weather and smooth conditions that come with flying in Winter.  Flying at this time of year can be extremely productive for new trainees and experienced pilots alike, with great opportunities to learn new skills or hone others - such as thermalling!

It's also a nice time to enjoy the sights, with green crops and golden canola flowers from horizon to horizon.

GCWA is offering a Winter Flying Special to all members, with glider hire fees being reduced by 50% from June 1 to August 31.

See you up there!

Humans of the Wheatbelt - Sally Crawcour
Humans of the Wheatbelt is an initiative of the Wheatbelt Health network in WA, and serves to highlight the interesting histories of various people who make up the Wheatbelt community.  They have a strong focus on mental health and on humanitarian projects.

They recently featured one of our fantastic pilots, Sally Crawcour, while visiting the airfield.  Have a read of what Sally had to say over on the Facebook page here, and check out the stories of the many other interesting characters who they have featured.
